Orientation Session

The new trainees of the PDCP (2022-23) were introduced to the Discipline of Clinical Psychology of IISU wherein they were informed about the roles and responsibilities of clinical psychology. Also, the information regarding their course and curriculum was provided to them. The challenges faced by the students due to the hospital training were discussed. Students were explained the various ways they can cope with the transition. A motivational and informative session by Dr. Shiv Gautam (Senior Psychiatrist) was conducted to motivate the new trainees for the hospital training.
At the conclusion of the session, the students were informed about the examination and submissions. Q&A round was held in which the participants were given an opportunity to put forward questions to state their curiosity. The overall session was insightful and the students got particulars about the functionaries of the discipline and hospital.
